'Dialectic of Frames' is a series of four photographic collages which can be read a number of ways. Frames, for instance, can be thought of as physical frames as well as structures which frame perception. Here, the site of the physical instigator (the window or a set of mirrors) enters into a dialogue with its projection or mirror image. This demonstrates the negotiation for a truth.

The collages use windows as initiators of projections. Throughout painting history the window has been a strong symbol, both for uniting humanity and nature as well as being the portal to another world, just as painting itself has come to represent the window to the world.
